Press ReleasesJune 18 , 2009 Customer Value Partners Wins U.S. Department of Agriculture Small Business AwardThe USDA Recognizes CVP's Exceptional Contributions to the Food Safety & Inspection ServiceFairfax, VA, June 18, 2009 – Customer Value Partners (CVP), an award-winning business and IT consultancy, today announced that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization has awarded the firm with the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) Small Disadvantaged Business Contractor of the Year Award for outstanding service. This achievement was recognized at the USDA Small Business and AbilityOne Awards Ceremony today at the Jamie L. Whitten Building in Washington, DC. CVP is currently performing four contracts for the FSIS, including Information System Security Program Support, Chief Technology Officer Support Services, requirements development for a new IT system involved with Label Submission and Approval, and software enhancements to the Agency’s Incident Management System. “We are proud to accept this award for our service to the USDA FSIS, as it reflects our commitment to delivering high-caliber services and support that have a positive impact on the operations of the clients we serve,” said Anirudh Kulkarni, Managing Principal, CVP. “We are honored to be working with these USDA FSIS teams and look forward to building upon the success that has been achieved to date.” The 16th annual USDA Small Business Awards Program continues to recognize small businesses that have provided excellent products or services to the Department.
